Founder's Office — Internship Programme

Location: -Work Type: Part-time

About Takshila

Takshila is the world's first P2P co-fabrication platform, connecting customers, designers, and artisans to co-create unique, original products, directly with each other, without any intermediaries. By combining AI-assisted design, on-demand artisan fabrication, transparent value chains, and blockchain-backed provenance, Takshila is redefining how digital shopping and craftsmanship are created, owned, and experienced.

We believe people should be authors of what they own — not just consumers of what they buy.

The Founder's Office has launched a 6-Month Internship Programme, open to the top students in the United States — those who think beyond the classroom, move with urgency, and want a seat at the table while a category is still being named.

This is not a research project. It is not a shadowing exercise. This programme exists because Takshila's founding team is actively building the company's visibility, its brand partnerships, and its standing across the industry.

You will sit inside the Founder's Office itself, working directly with the Founder, the CEO, and across the Growth and Marketing teams. You will be in the room for pitch meetings. You will hold conversations with investors, brands, and partners. You will help shape how the company is seen by the industry it is trying to redefine. You will not be handed sanitised tasks. You will be handed real relationships and expected to build them.

While this is an internship, outstanding performance may open doors to a full-time role at Takshila, Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Brand Partnerships and the Partner Program — identify, approach, and build relationships with brands, creators, and strategic partners who belong in Takshila's orbit.

  • Build and lead initiatives around Founder Visibility and Engagement — positioning the Founder and CEO as a voice in the industry, not just a name behind the company.

  • Set up Brand Meets, manage social communication channel engagement, and drive podcast outreach to expand the Founder's reach and presence.

  • Identify visibility and reach opportunities — press, panels, podcasts, communities, and platforms where Takshila's story should be heard.

  • Support pitch meetings and early-stage conversations with investors, brands, and partners.

  • Cultivate wider industry relationships on behalf of the Founder's Office, tracking engagement and following through on every open thread.

  • Collaborate across Growth and Marketing to ensure outward-facing efforts reflect what the platform actually delivers, and feed market signals back to the founding team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree — from a top institution, or with a track record that makes the institution irrelevant.

  • Demonstrable communication skills, written and verbal. You can write an outreach note that gets a reply. You can hold a conversation that earns trust. You can represent a founder's voice without losing your own judgment.

  • Strong research and relationship instincts — you know how to identify the right person, the right opportunity, and the right moment to reach out.

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and social and media platforms. Knowing the tools is table stakes. Knowing how to use them to build real visibility is the skill.

  • Comfort with ambiguity, fast pace, and high ownership.

  • Availability and commitment across the full six months of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in brand partnerships, PR, communications, marketing, or founder/executive support — even if informal. Side projects, college societies, early-stage ventures, or freelance work all count.

  • Experience with outreach, relationship-building, or community management, and an instinct for what makes a brand or a founder worth paying attention to.

  • Understanding of how startups build visibility — media, podcasts, events, and social platforms — and what separates noise from real reach.

  • Exposure to luxury consumer markets, creator economies, or craft and design industries — a genuine interest in the space where premium, human-made, and technology-enabled intersect.

  • Knowledge of AI, blockchain, or Web3 is a plus. Intellectual curiosity about where these technologies are taking commerce and ownership is more than enough to start.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for the top 1% — not by grades or internship history, but by the quality of your judgement, your obsession, and your willingness to do the work that matters.

  • Mission-obsessed, not resume-obsessed.

  • A builder with a bias for execution.

  • Self-directed, and genuinely comfortable with ambiguity.

  • Accountable without ego.

  • Commercially and socially sharp, with a real feel for what earns attention.

  • Someone who sees Takshila's mission and thinks — I want to be part of this.

What You Gain

Direct access to the Founder and CEO — no manager layers, no filtered information. Real pitch meetings, real investor and brand conversations, real partnerships — not mock briefs. A front-row seat at the bleeding edge of innovation, shaping a category-defining company from the inside. Deep exposure to how founder visibility, brand partnerships, and industry relationships are built from zero — the kind of experience that shapes careers, not just resumes.

This is a strictly unpaid internship. For the top performers, we are open to a full-time offer, or an ESOP-based position where you earn a stake in what you help build.

How to Apply

Send us your resume and a note — not a cover letter, a note. Tell us about a brand, founder, or industry moment you've followed closely and what made it work. Tell us about the most effective thing you've ever done to open a door that wasn't open — in any context. And tell us what you expect to walk away from this internship having built, learned, or unlocked.
